Kathmandu, August 24, 2025 — The Institute of Engineering (IOE) under Tribhuvan University (TU) has successfully launched its BE/BArch Entrance Examination 2025, with smooth operations and strong participation reported across the nation.
IOE Dean Prof. Dr. Sushil Bahadur Bajracharya welcomed Vice Chancelor of TU Prof. Dr. Deepak Aryal at the currently running IOE BE/BArch Entrance Examination Center located at ICTC Pulchowk on 21st Aug. 2025. “This is my first official visit to IOE and happy seeing this modern and sophisticated computer-based test system”, Said by respected VC Prof. Dr. Deepak Aryal.
Application Surge Sets Up Positive Momentum
This year, IOE witnessed a significant 11% increase in applicants, with over 11,500 students submitting applications for the BE/BArch programs. The enthusiasm among aspiring engineers and architects is palpable.
The examination began on Bhadra 3, 2082 (August 19, 2025), administered entirely through a computer-based test (CBT) system covering Math, Physics, Chemistry, and English. With applications and admit cards managed online via the official portal https://entrance.ioe.edu.np, the process has unfolded smoothly, reflecting IOE’s readiness and prior planning.
Robust Participation Across Exam Centers
Students are appearing at designated centers such as ICTC building Pulchowk, RIC building Pokhara, and Purwanchal Campus Dharan, with no major disruptions reported. The setup appears to be functioning efficiently, and coordination among centers is reportedly seamless.
Given the scale—4,344 seats across constituent and affiliated campuses—the smooth execution of the exam is a major relief for tens of thousands of students nationwide.
